FAQ
How the tips work, what value means and how we keep score. How it works
How are your predictions made?
A statistical model estimates how many goals each team is likely to score, from their attacking and defensive record this season, home and away, with a correction for low-scoring draws. We blend that with the bookmakers' own view, then pick the best tip across markets and show the form, head-to-head and team news behind it. The full method is on our How it works page.
Which markets do you tip?
Match result, double chance (1X, X2, 12), over or under 2.5 goals, both teams to score and anytime goalscorer. Each match gets the one tip where the price looks best against our chances.
What does value mean?
A tip is value when the best price on offer is bigger than the fair price we work out. It's an estimate, not a promise: value tips still lose often.
Are your tips guaranteed?
No. Football is unpredictable and no model wins every bet. Use our verdicts as one input, bet only what you can afford to lose, and never chase losses.
How often is the data updated?
Fixtures, odds, tables and team news refresh automatically through the day. Odds move quickly, so check the price at the bookmaker before you bet.
Which competitions do you cover?
The Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga, Ligue 1 and the Champions League, each with its own page. Other competitions appear on the home board when our data covers them.
Is this AI?
Two parts. A statistical model works out the chances, picks the tip and sets the confidence score. Then an AI analyst (Anthropic's Claude) reads those numbers with the odds, form, head-to-head and team news and writes a short preview. You can also ask it questions about this week's matches.
Do you publish your results?
Yes. Every tip is logged before kickoff and settled after full time, wins and losses, on our track record page. The Brain page breaks it down by market, competition and confidence, and checks whether our chances come true as often as we say.
Is Bookie Verdict a bookmaker?
No. We don't take bets or hold money. We publish predictions and analysis only, for adults 18+.
